Dang, my comp restarted and I lost my post. Anyhow, CNY, first day the usual visitations to temple, grandma's (who really looked like she aged alot the last year, god bless her with health please), went to granduncles, and dinner with maternal side. Met the maternal relatives for the first time since i'm back, had fun talking to them. Kids were cute as usual, sweet yu qi even asked me to join and share cards with me during a game of uno attack which was rather hilarious with yi zhi kor not knowing the rules. She even offered to give me one of her light stick and those popping things when she saw me. Seems like we've got more cousins too, so weird.
2nd day was spent really travelling. nanny's place (love her cat soooo much), woodlands to visit grandaunt, tampines to visit uncle. Was quite tired from all the driving and made a few mistakes which really made my dad angry with me. oops. Dinner at home was nice. Simple porridge with dishes eaten with family is still the best.
Speaking of food, we finally had steamboat as a family of 4 for the first time since forever. Quite nice for a change =p. Went to Ichiban on 2nd day for our usual cny lunch also. Service there was good but the cashier and manager pissed me off. Oh well.
Some things have happened and I just hope everything will be alright.
