Sunday, November 30, 2008 { 12:50 AM }

Gosh the days just flew by ey. Can't really remember what happened but met up with Wei jie jie, Alan kor kor and the girls for dinner at sagano. Everyone was pretty impressed by the portions and the girls were having a blast after they got their energy from eating the sushi. Names were being called, namely 'panda' =p, photos were taken by the girls and they had fun playing with Jon. Coffee at zaraffa's after that was rather interesting and I would say the highlight of the night was running across the street in the pouring rain which made us soaked thru the skin although it was just a short dash. Was fun tho running barefeet.

Went for my RSA course, finally! Had starbucks and went to sing karaoke with the rest since we were all in our random moods.

Worked at the convention ctr yesterday and I had fun, although it was tiring standing around doing nothing for more than an hour and I think blood cirulation was poor or I had low blood sugar, it's like I felt my ears were constantly blocked and nothing really seemed to register in my brain. Was assigned to do coffee station which was interesting. Found out how to fix the coffee machine and they use concentrated chilled coffee to make those kegs of coffee, which by the way is really a chore to carry. At least it's a work out I guess.

Talked to many of the clients and it was nice when they came to find me again during their next break. This guy whom I served an initial weak coffee (we didnt know the coffee machine was spoilt till I poured the coffee) was so nice to still take the coffee although I offerred to get it from the other station. He came back to chat with me again during the break and it was fun. Some guy chatted a little bit while waiting for his coffee and he was so stressed coz he had a day of shareholder's meeting but he seemed much better after that. This lady who had pneumonia previously and had to drink chinese tea came to share her story with me, and she came by again during her second break just for mindless chat and even shoke hands with me after that. It was also nice being thanked by them, some even noting my name. Another lady came by to chat while her husband was getting 'lost' in the convention hall. Many more stories but you know what, after doing that few hours of work, I feel the spark in me being lighted up again. This is what I love about my work. People remembering me, coming by to talk, complimenting me for always smiling and hopefully remembering me. There will be anal customers definately but it's these few that makes my day.

Went to Tania's place at circle on cavil after that since plans to brissy were cancelled. It was nice making more friends and boy was the place luxurious. Would love to live there one day with the view and layout. Dinner was fun, a little bit of setback but it was all good. Drinking games were fun and it was fun seeing how people can be when their drunk. I'm so not going to let people mix drinks for me again. The last mug of scotch, beer, pepsi, vodka (i think?) and i don't know what was strong enough to knock me out. Bad mistake of having beer added. Tsk. But it was all good =)

Had fun today at dinner and timezone. 2nd date alone =) Got some toys and a cute doggy to accompany me to bed and I had fun. Looking forward to more dates =p

Exams are over!! If anything I feel more exhausted, maybe I spent too much time studying, too much time hating myself for procrastinating and 3 weeks of studying and poor diet and sleeping habits is just taking a toll on me.

Heading to friend's friend party at Q1, gosh the view at night is pretty. If only we could latin dance like the pros it'll be sweet I tell you. Kinda got a wee bit drunk since I mixed beer and hard liquor. Not a wise idea for me since I get drunk on beer fast and we didn't get to dance much due to the music.

BBQ and swim/spa at Tsuey's on sat. It was awesome, had lots of fun and laughter, stopped by another bbq for a bit, Quantum of Solace at night followed by dinner at surfers.

Apparently it's schoolies. Kids who graduate from High school and are waiting to enter uni/work. Therefore they head to GC by the truckload to club/beach/play/enjoy etc for the week, or maybe even 2. Seriously they can be really crazy and drunk. People try to open car doors while the car's driving by, they'd just walk across the road recklessly, fights were reported, people were seen lead away in the police cars, roads were blocked, and seriously I've never seen so many people in surfers at one time before. Such a kill joy since we have problem going there or broady.

Finally saw Wei Wei Jie Jie, Kor Kor and the girls. Managed to 'wake' up the youngest rather quickly and it was fun to play from there. Poor Yu Qi wasn't feeling too good but the moment she felt better, her first words were to call Jon, "panda" haha. I enjoyed myself. Hopefully can see them really soon.

I'm bored so ....

You are striving for a life full of activity and experience and, perhaps even more, an environment where you would be able to forge a close bond with a person who can offer full emotional fulfilment.

At this time you 'need to be needed' and again you 'need to need'. You have had this feeling for some time now and you are looking for someone who could share a close bond in an atmosphere of shared intimacy. You have the belief that with the right person you could conquer the world.

At times one is burdened with more than one's fair share of problems and this would appear to be your situation at present. But you are adamant - you know what you wish to achieve - and by giving a little and taking a little you may well find that the realization of your dreams could become a reality.

You are an emotional, sincere and impressionable individual experiencing frustration and unnecessary stress. You vehemently resist any form of pressure from outside sources, insisting on your independence as an individual. You want to be a decision maker - to make up your own mind without interference. You wish to be able to draw your own conclusions and arrive at your own decisions. You detest uniformity and mediocrity as you want to be regarded as one who gives authoritative opinions. Your favourite expression could well be that 'I may not always be right but I am never wrong'. You're a perfectionist and even though you may feel that the other person's point of view may be right, you find it extremely difficult to admit that you could be wrong.

You really like doing what you do and, more than that, you like yourself. Your attitude to work and to life is that 'If its not fun - then don't do it'. You want to be liked and respected, not for who you are but for what you are - and it seems to be working.

Half an hour is enough to turn the clear blue sky to a lightning filled one, 2 minutes is enough to have such a storm that'll make you drenched. Frankly it's quite scary, looking at the lightning filling the sky non-stop, the sudden strong winds filling the air with fallen leaves and the rain starts pelting all of the sudden.

All I can say is thank goodness I'm in school, although it'll be nice to be home with my blanket and heater but exams are tomorrow and I could do with studying in school with friends.

Back to studying.

{ 12:17 PM }

Last paper tomorrow, 1 mark to pass, 26 to get D, 36 to get HD. Let's hope I can get HD for this at least coz I'm expecting a C/D for 2, P/C for 1.

I hate having such a long exam period! No mood to study and everyone else is playing. Sigh!

Looking forward to seeing the little tykes though.

Back to studying -kill me please- sigh.

I don't really like being bugged about economics when I havent really started studying for it. Okay i've pretty much went through the first half of the sem's notes and i havent started much for macroecons so stop calling/msning me regarding the short ans. sigh~ just coz i did better for my mid sem and i pretty much wrote the whole assignment doesnt mean i'm better/smarter. I'm not the one who did econs during high school and i pretty much messed up my results during my poly days. i'm just doing my best.

anyway coffee just now was fun. girl's talk. we should do it like once a wk/every 2 weeks lol.

ppl here are really random, taking the computer chairs and sliding around outside, on the road even.

back to studying.

2 down, 2 to go! Was in such a high yesterday after i finished my paper. i know i was given 2h 10min but i complete it in 30 min as i really couldnt think of the answer and i definately got a credit and 98% of getting a distinction. that alone was good enough for me to just leave the examination hall instead of getting so worried.

dinner at new thai place with beatrice, amanda, ben and jon was fun. the food wasnt too bad but i guess it could have been better too? oh well. mia hiam buay pai. slacked at the uni for a bit after dinner and i managed to catch a few shows. really funny.

shall get to studying later, heading to uni in the evening to find tsuey.

exam's starting soon! and i really really really really really should start getting serious. hopefully all goes as per mid sem and i'd just need 2 days effectively to study. as long as i can fit into the 'zone'. which means a certain should study somewhere else so that people will not keep coming by =p just kidding haha. i'd just stick to listening to my music. shall really start downloading more songs soon. i want new jay chou's cd!!! okay i've got all the songs alr but still, i want the cd =p lol. shall get it when i'm back.

shall stop blabbering. good luck for exams everyone!

Saturday, November 8, 2008 { 12:37 PM }

I can't believe I actually went along with the idea of getting piggybacked along surfers. Granted it was around midnight and the crowd was little, but still.... it was fun tho =p

Still not in the zone to study yet. How???? Anyway if things go as per mid sem, I would only need 2 days per module effectively to study. Gambattei!!!

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 { 12:11 PM }

I've only been up for lesser than 2 hours and it's already the shittest day ever.

//edited//

Well, firstly i spilled curry in my bag, abit over my floor and table, then while cleaning it up, my bag fell on the floor, causing my floor to be cover with buscuits, and i kinda messed up my lappie abit.

while sitting at the bus stop waiting for Jon, i got 'divebombed' (as quoted by Beavan) by 3 birds and 1 of them even used my head as a 'jumppad'. like wth. seriously am i so suay to get targeted by birds 3 times?

anyway lunch with Jon, his mom and Ben. Jon's mom is so cute. Reminds me of mom, the way she talks/nags to Jon =p

anyway back to studying.

Sunday, November 2, 2008 { 12:42 PM }

It's quite obvious I'm in a photo blogging mood. First up are pictures from our Halloween night, followed by the SSA dinner.

Oh yea, went to watch Death Race the other day and I so love the way they race and compete man. Who would imagine weapons on cars, people committing crimes just to force people to race. Overall, good for effects and the action but you might want to catch it on days when movies are cheap =p

Halloween was alright sans the lousy music. I swear never to go Melbas again.

SSA dinner wasn't too bad, had long table arrangements instead of tables of 4 and thanks to Ben we had quite an optimal sitting I'd say =p. Food was good but I was quite disappointed with the desserts though. Those individual portions of mousse/cake etc wasn't to our liking. Still it's rather value for money I guess. Coffee was fun, cards at resource was even better. At least I learnt how to play bridge and it's been years since I last played "dai di". Would have been better if I didn't have cramps and if my body wasn't threatening to breakout in cold sweat ever so often.

Study break already!!! It's time to rumble.... =p
