I think I'm quite stupid. But for the sake of getting my RSA, the chance of working during Indy, I agreed to work without finding out the location first. Then again it was stated in the sms and if I were to call and reject just because it's in NSW I probably won't hear from them ever again.
Anyway went to work at Pepper's resort in NSW. It's in another state mind you, but it's about 1hr plus ride by shuttle. Still, I wasted $20 on cab fare in the morning and ended up reaching 45 minutes earlier.
The resort's beautiful! I'd love to live there for a bit. Cleared around 20 rooms or so I guess, did check out for a few but the rest was service so basically I just needed to help make sure the bed sheet's nice and neat and the toilet's clean as well as change towels.
I don't understand why guys can like aim into the toilet bowl. It's so big and yet they still can piss on the toilet bowl. Disgusting man. At least no condom box/wrapper/red underwear hanging around the toilet so that's good. Talked to a few families for a bit, kids kept finding me. Especially this particular little girl who kept 'flirting' with me lol. Me thinks she's about 4 or so? Kept coming to find me in the toilet to show me her hat, show me that she wore her crocs on her own, telling me they're going to the park. Keep telling her parents she wants to find the lady, i.e. me. Made me smile for a bit though.
The toilets in the suites are the best. Jacuzzi bath tub, open windows (of course with blinds for those who want their privacy), big and spacious, first floors have their own plunge pool, the common pool and landscape is just gorgeous.
Managed to sneak a quick lunch break in between. I dont understand why they don't have lunch break here. Like if you work from 8-6 maybe you dont even have a few minutes break. That's disgusting man.
Anyhow met amanda, amy and beatrice to walk around surfers. Bought 2 dresses to reward myself and motivate myself to do better for my finals. I hope I can get HD for HRIS. If my mid sem did just as well as assessment it should be a breeze. Of course, more dresses means nicer clothes to wear for dates =D
Is it possible to like someone you've never met? Someone you knew through facebook and msn-ed after that?
Okay I'm really tired and I can bearly walk straight just now. Nights all!
