HAPPY MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL EVERYONE!!! Just back from Amanda's where we had just a scrumptious meal of hot pot with beer and ice cream. Perfect I tell you. I'm so bloated now that my tummy feels like its three months pregnant.
tsk tsk.
Had fun doing the dumplings (i.e.
shui jiao) with all our variations on how to wrap it and of course attempts were varied. Note to self: one day I shall wrap it as nicely as Amy. I think China people are so cool, the way they wrap dumplings are so pretty!
Had a surprise visitor which was in the form of a white furry, four legged friend. Phoebe, Amanda's manager's dog scurried in during the midst of preparing the filling for the dumpling. She had so much fun running around, sniffing around Amanda's, eating biscuits and of course much tender loving care from us. It's so cute the way she suddenly run around and yapping a tad bit but I guess she's always welcomed.
